Blue Dots Inspiring Hope, Healing & Health

August 2, 2014

My Blue Dots and the families and counselors of Camp Kesem at Stanford decorated The Branches of Bryant in Palo Alto, CA with handmade paper mache blue dots by Camp Kesem campers. The Blue Dots were created by a group of third to sixth grade campers to honor cancer warriors everywhere with Hope, Healing and Health. Each handmade dot was hung up with Camp Kesem friendships bracelets.

We are thrilled to introduce Camp Kesem to the My Blue Dot community because they are a wonderful free, student-run summer camp and year-round community for children of whose parents have cancer, are in remission from cancer, or have passed away from cancer. Camp Kesem is a stay-away, week long summer camp for kids to escape the stress of the cancer situation at home to be with a community who understands what they are going through. We also want to thank the owners of Branches of Bryant for supporting My Blue Dots and allowing us to decorate the trees so community can appreciate the beautiful artwork by the children as well as to increase cancer awareness. We hope you enjoy these event photos and share them with your friends and family to let them know about this wonderful organization.
