Share the vision, a world free of cancer. Make the commitment, be proactive. Together we can cure cancer in our lifetime.

My Blue Dots My Blue Dots

In each life there are moments when time stops.

Such moments affect everything that follows.

One of those moments for Sue McCollum was when her mother died of breast cancer when she was eight years old.

Years later, she had to tell her family that she too had breast cancer.

When the technicians applied the blue tattoos that guide the path of the radiation that would attack the cancerous cells in her body, time stopped again.

In that moment she decided to transform a symbol of fear into one of hope.

Sue created a unique hand blown blue dot ornament for all who have had a blue dot moment, to let them know they are not alone, but share this moment with thousands of others
who wear the blue dots.

Sue has supported the Stanford University Medical Center, the Stanford Comprehensive Cancer Center, the St. Luke’s Regional Medical Hospital in Sun Valley, Idaho, and the Eisenhower Cancer Center in Rancho Mirage, Ca. with the sale of these ornaments and private donations.

But she knew that was not enough.

She realized that she couldn’t let another generation wonder when it would end.

So she decided to ask others to dare to envision a world without breast cancer.

Now the question is will you share the Vision?

Will you make a commitment?
